A live enactment of the Parish Way of the Cross by Jesus Youth will be held on Friday, 12th April at 3.45 pm in the church compound. Let us meditate and dedicate ourselves to walk with Jesus as we enter the Holy Week.

The Schedule of Holy Week and Easter Liturgy at Sacred Heart Church and Awali church is displayed on the Parish Notice Board.

Priests will be available for Confessions on Monday 15th April, Tuesday 16th April and Wednesday 17th April at the Sacred Heart Church from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm. There will be no confessions on Thursday, 18th April.

On Wednesday, 17th April at 6.30 pm, there will be a Pre-Baptism Seminar in the St. Claire Audio Video Room. This seminar is compulsory for Parents and God Parents. Please bring your copy of the Bible with you. Children are not allowed.

The Holy Week services will be held at Sacred Heart School, Isa Town.  The schedule will be as follows:

On 18th April, the Maundy Thursday service will commence at 7.00 pm,

On 19th April, the Good Friday service will commence at 5.00 pm and

On 20th April, the Easter Vigil service will commence at 7.30 pm and will be presided over by our Nuncio.

For those who have difficulty with transport to Isa Town, arrangements have been made for bus services from the Art and Craft Center Bus Stop at Al Zubara Avenue  The timings are as follows:

On Holy Thursday, Buses will leave at 6.00 pm, 6.15 pm and 6.30 pm.

On Good Friday, Buses will leave at 4.00 pm, 4.15 pm and 4.30 pm.

On Holy Saturday, Buses will leave at 6.30 pm, 6.45 pm and 7.00 pm.

Those who have space available in their vehicles are requested to kindly pass by the steel gate of the church, to give people a lift on their way to Isa Town for the services.

Parishioners are advised to park their cars properly while coming for the services at Isa Town and Manama in order to avoid blocking traffic.

There will be an offertory procession at the start of the Liturgy on Maundy Thursday, Easter Vigil and at all Easter Sunday masses. Parishioners are encouraged to bring offertory items and join the offertory procession at the start of the mass. These offertory items will be distributed to the needy in the parish through Poor of St. Anthony.

We will require a lot of white flowers to decorate the Altar of Repose on Holy Thursday and for the Easter Vigil service. Donors may bring them on the previous day to the Sacristy.

The first day of the Chaplet Prayer to the Divine Mercy begins on 19th April and will be prayed after the Good Friday Service.  For details of the timing of the chaplet prayer on other days, please refer to the Parish Notice Board.
