Parish Announcements – 29th, 30th November and 1st December 2019

On Saturday, 30th November we celebrate the Feast of St. Andrew at the 6.25 am mass in the Mother Church.  

The Wedding Anniversary Mass for November celebrants will be held on Saturday, 30th November at the 6.30 pm mass in the Sacred Heart Church. Those celebrating their Wedding Anniversary in the month of November may register their names in the Parish Office by 29th November  and occupy the benches reserved for them at the mass.            

The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will be held on 6th December at 3.45 pm in the Sacred Heart Church. 

On Friday, 6th December the Feast of St. Francis Xavier will be celebrated by the Konkani Community commencing with the blessing of the St. Francis Xavier Statue in the church compound at 8.30 am followed by the Feast Mass in Konkani at the Sacred Heart Church.  Thereafter there will be cultural programme and festive lunch at Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium. The Novena in preparation for the Feast has already begun. For more details, please refer to the banner in the church compound. 

On Friday, 6th December due to the Konkani Feast Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, the English obligation mass at 8.45 am will be held in Our Lady of Arabia Auditorium.   

Saturday, 7th December is the birthday of  Fr. Amar. A Thanksgiving Mass will be offered at 6.30 pm in the Sacred Heart Church on that day. Let us participate and pray for his intentions. 

On Monday, 9th December we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The morning mass at 6.15 am will be held in the Sacred Heart Church.  

As we are progressing with the construction of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia, we remind you of your monthly contribution of BD.2 from each working member of the family towards this endeavour which can be put in the boxes labelled Cathedral Project which are kept at the entrance of the Sacred Heart Church.
